Kim Kardashian's 'Jam' Video Leaks Online
Leaked portion finds newly married reality star flaunting her famous assets.

There are a few things Kim Kardashian is known for: her near-ubiquitous reality TV presence, her recent lavish wedding to basketball player Kris Humphries ... and for the rest, you just need to watch the first 54 seconds of the upcoming video for her debut single, "Jam (Turn It Up)."
The opening of the Hype Williams-directed clip showed up on Perez Hilton's site on Monday, and it's pretty much what you might expect. The first image you see is Kardashian lying on the floor covered in sweat, or oil, as her name scrolls by in giant pink neon letters that fill the frame.
Once the thumping disco beat produced by The-Dream kicks in, we are treated to an up-close-and-personal shot of the other thing Kardashian is best known for: her rear. As she crawls across the wet floor, the camera zooms in on Kardashian's assets, sheathed in barely-there pink leather booty shorts. The beat keeps pumping as Kardashian slithers toward a giant spinning exhaust fan.
Her face and hair dripping with greasy moisture, Kardashian mouths, "Turn me up, turn me up, turn me, turn me, turn me up," while nearly subliminal still images of her tongue rolling over heavily made-up red lips pulse on the screen. And those are pretty much the only lyrics we hear, accompanied by more images of a dewy Kim K. rolling around on the floor and touching her hair.
Near the end of the clip she explains, "I'm goin' out tonight/ It's going down/ Headed straight to the front of the line," while conveniently rolling onto her back to give us a peek down her barely hanging-on dirty wifebeater to show off her other most famous lady parts. Kardashian debuted the song back in March on Ryan Seacrest's radio show, while also tweeting out some stills from the shoot, but she has not yet announced when her debut album will be released.

Daryl Hannah Arrested In White House Protest
HGTV, LA and Dining Room Tables
I've been watching a lot of HGTV since coming to LA. My favorite shows are House Hunters and House Hunters International. There's also another show I like to watch called For Rent, but only because it makes me angry.
When it comes to apartments/homes, I think living in New York for the past eleven years has made me bitter because there was this whiny broad on For Rent a few nights ago who was looking at a huge place—A HUGE PLACE—and was like, "There's no place for a dining room table..."
B*TCH, YOU'RE LUCKY TO GET A KITCHEN IN NEW YORK.
I hated her.
Now there's some stupid lady on House Hunters who wants a townhouse with a fireplace that she can turn on with a light switch. IT HAS TO BE A LIGHT SWITCH because she doesn't want to bend down and flip a switch on the floor.
WHO DO THESE PEOPLE THINK THEY ARE?
Anyway, I know my LA update is WAY overdue (and truth be told I wrote a long one last week but for some reason it didn't save so I lost the whole thing and I was so angry that I just said, "Ah, f*ck it," and closed the computer instead of rewriting) but to give you a quick update, I AM SO HAPPY HERE. I MEAN, I'M REALLY, REALLY HAPPY. And I think living here and watching HGTV—both of these things combined—has made me realize that New York was just beating me down. I mean, the fireplace lady—yes, she's an idiot. But there's nothing wrong with wanting a dining room table. Why did I get so mad at that lady?
Since being here, at least once a day I ask myself why I have lived in New York for so long. (It's like I had Stockholm Syndrome or something.) CALIFORNIA IS AWESOME. It's like the promised land. It's sunny all the time and there are birds and flowers everywhere. I have space out here. I have a sofa on the patio out here. I HAVE A SOFA OUTSIDE. I haven't seen one rat since I've been here. But hummingbirds? THEY ZIP BY MY HEAD EVERY DAY. I am so happy.
I'm supposed to go back to New York in November, but truth be told, I'm not sure I will.

Stepping out for a delectable bite to eat, Sofia Vergara was spotted at the Ivy restaurant in West Hollywood, CA over the weekend (August 27).
The ?Modern Family? beauty was joined by her boyfriend Nick Loeb and was her usual smiley self as she exited the eatery before making her way to her vehicle.
In career news, Ms Vergara has been in talks for one of the three lead characters in ?Danger Girl,? an adaptation of the J. Scott Campbell/Andy Hartnell comic series.
Sofia joins Kate Beckinsale and Milla Jovovich as the third leading lady to play the characters Natalia Kassle, Sydeny Savage and Abbey Chase.

Britney Spears Calls VMA Tribute 'An Honor'
Spears tells MTV News her onstage smooch with Lady Gaga's Jo Calderone wasn't planned.

Britney Spears played it humble during her Video Music Awards tribute -- using her time onstage to shine the spotlight on her fellow performer, Beyoncé -- not an easy feat to accomplish in between nabbing the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award and getting kissed by Lady Gaga's male alter ego Jo Calderone.
When MTV News caught up with Spears minutes after stepping offstage, she stayed humble, calling the tribute "an honor" and once again deflecting the spotlight.
"It was really crazy. I had no idea what to expect," Spears said. "The kids were amazing and so entertaining, and it was a really fun night. It was really cool. I was like, 'Wow, that's really sweet!'
"I loved the little girl in the 'Slave' outfit," she continued. "She was just so tiny and she delivered and she had such a great performance. ... They were all so great, and you could tell they worked really hard."
Watch the Britney Spears VMA Tribute now!
And Spears didn't stop there either. For an artist who's won more than her fare share of VMAs in her career, she was blown away by Sunday night's Best Pop Video triumph. "Every year ... just to come here is such an honor, you never get used to it," she smiled. "But tonight means so much to me." In a night full of high-water moments, it was her tribute smooch from Gaga -- er, Calderone -- that she gushed about backstage. Especially because she said the kiss was totally unplanned.
"She was in full character!" Spears said. "We just got onstage and we just kind of felt it out; we didn't know what was going on, so it was interesting!"

Another year, another unbelievably action-packed Video Music Awards. As expected, viewers were treated to mind-blowing performances and several jaw-dropping surprises. The most unexpected moment came courtesy of Beyoncé Knowles, who not so subtly announced to the world that she and husband Jay-Z are expecting their first child.
When B unbuttoned her sparkly jacket and rubbed her belly with a knowing smile, after which the camera panned to a visibly elated Jay-Z and Kanye West cheering from the audience, the Nokia Theatre was bursting with warm and fuzzy well-wishes for the soon-to-be parents. And that very public moment of celebration was just the beginning.
When Beyoncé returned backstage to her dressing room, she was greeted by a team of people who enveloped the visibly happy star with hugs, cheers and congratulations.

"I'm free!" she said to one of the well-wishers, indicating that she and Jay are thrilled to not have to keep such a big secret any longer. "We're all free!" she said to the group.
A few minutes after her arrival backstage, she was joined by her husband, a very excited West (whose first words upon entering the dressing-room area were "Where is Beyoncé?" as if he could not wait to give B a huge hug) and her former Destiny's Child ladies, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams. Even with the doors to their dressing rooms closed, the applause and whoops of joy could be heard everywhere backstage.
"That was an eventful night, to say the least," Jay, still smiling, said to some of the revelers in the hallway, who continued to shower him with congratulations and hugs.

'Ghost Rider 2' Trailer: An Expert Analysis
'Spirit of Vengeance' sneak peek has MTV Movies team excited for what's to come from the Nicolas Cage superhero.
By Eric Ditzian and Josh Wigler
"Ghost Rider: Spirit Of Vengeance"
Photo: Columbia Pictures
The "Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance" trailer popped up online late last week, and what else is there to say about it other than Nicolas Cage closes out the new footage by pissing fire? Well, it turns out there's a heck of a lot left to say, which is why the MTV Movies team jumped into the comic book action for an expert commentary.
The trailer begins sweetly, with a score reminiscent of "Lost" and some epic title cards: "He fought the curse ... evil will force him ... to face his demon." But any wacky notion that directors Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor, who also helmed the "Crank" films, have delivered a kinder, gentler Johnny Blaze is quickly dismissed when the music picks up and the flames flicker to reveal our first look at the new Ghost Rider.
It's a look the directors have spoken with us about at length. "We wanted this black skull, with this gasoline fire and this black, inky smoke to get this real feeling of explosions and fire and heat," Neveldine said at San Diego Comic-Con. "That's something we really went for: 'Let's feel the heat in this movie.' "
The grittiness of this Ghost Rider most definitely shines through in the trailer. Charcoal skull? Check. A whiff of gasoline seemingly rising off the screen? Check. Neveldine and Taylor not holding back in this trailer and delivering a full-on look at our hero right off the bat? Check. And they don't stop there, quickly showing off Ghost Rider's signature move, the Penance Stare: He looks into your eyes and makes you feel all the pain and suffering you've ever inflicted on other people. This is no fairy-tale power. This is not X-ray vision. This is a hard-core demonic power, one which was not played very well in the first film. Even in this quick shot, the Stare looks very cool.
Speaking of demonic powers, the trailer got us thinking this film might not just be a sequel to the 2007 original, but to Cage's "Drive Angry," the 3-D action flick that had the actor busting out of hell to inflict gory revenge on his enemies. Crazy talk? Sure. But since "Drive Angry" hardly performed well enough at the box office to justify a sequel, we'll take whatever we can get.
We get to see plenty of Ghost Rider here, but the trailer gives us the briefest glimpse of Johnny Whitworth as Blackout. He's part human, part demon, all bad news. Whitworth is a guy to watch — hardly a household name but one who delivered an energetic supporting role in the largely forgettable "Limitless." With Neveldine and Taylor in control, there is serious potential for killer fight scenes between Blackout and Ghost Rider.
Another character we get a peek at is young Danny Ketch. Comic fans will know him as one of the guys who eventually becomes Ghost Rider. The big departure here is that Danny is a kid. In the comics, he's a young man. While this film probably won't turn into a passing of the torch from Cage's Johnny Blaze to Danny as the next Ghost Rider, it's nonetheless cool to see filmmakers laying the mythological groundwork.
The trailer ends with pure, absurd fun: Ghost Rider declaring that it feels awesome when he pees fire. That's essentially how Cage feels about the movie as a whole. "The Ghost Rider is just the coolest-looking superhero, and it has to be the one that goes to film and looks the best," the actor told us at SDCC. "I think they've achieved that with this."

'True Blood' Star Warns Of The Curse Of 'The Caller'
Stephen Moyer and director Matthew Parkhill recall the eerie occurrences on the film's Puerto Rico set.
By Josh Wigler

There are probably stranger, scarier things in the universe than a mystery woman from the past who can cross the space-time continuum to obsessively call your home telephone for hours and days and weeks on end. But the idea is plenty creepy as the premise of "The Caller," director Matthew Parkhill's indie thriller starring "Twilight" villainess Rachelle Lefevre and "True Blood" vamp Stephen Moyer.
In "The Caller," Puerto Rico resident Mary Kee (Lefevre) moves into a new home following a nasty separation from her abusive husband ("Eureka's" Ed Quinn), only to find an even more harrowing nemesis in Rose (Lorna Raver), an unhinged and disgruntled woman living in the late 1970s. Rose somehow has the ability to call Mary's new phone number some 30 years into the future, a seemingly impossible sci-fi feat that leaves our protagonist skeptical, frustrated and frightened in turns. When Mary's patience for Rose's hysteria wears thin, she learns the hard lesson that scorning a deranged woman who lives in the past can be hazardous for your health.
Though it boasts a sinister plot, it was actually the behind-the-scenes mysteries that raised the hair on the backs of the "Caller" cast and crew's necks throughout the film's 23-day shoot.
"Sometimes a shoot will take on its own energy," Moyer, who plays Mary's love interest and resident time-travel expert John Guidi, told MTV News. "Every day, something was happening. Things were breaking, film missing, scratches on necks ... it just became this regular occurrence. Even after I left the shoot, me and Matthew and Rachelle would speak regularly, and there would be bits and pieces happening on a regular basis: phone calls coming in from people, literally prank phone calls. It was an odd, odd thing."
Parkhill said that screenwriter Sergio Casci was convinced there was a "curse of 'The Caller.' " But the director doesn't much believe in curses himself, though even he admitted to "weird" and "unsettling" occurrences.
"We dressed Mary's living room with these old National Geographic magazines, and one of them fell open to this page where there were three corpses hanging in this old room, that were identical to the three corpses hanging in our pantry," said Parkhill, referring to a trio of bodies that play a pivotal role in the horror film. "Then when we were shooting in a supermarket, we moved one of the supermarket shelves and there was an old bottle of perfume that had cracked which was labeled 'Rose,' which is [the name of the film's villain]."
In the end, none of these eerie events was powerful enough to derail production on "The Caller," which opens in limited release on Friday (August 26). But that doesn't mean that the alleged curse of "The Caller" doesn't still rear its head from time to time. The press junket held in San Juan earlier this week just so happened to coincide with the presence of Hurricane Irene in Puerto Rico, a threat that is now storming its way up the East Coast. As a result of the storm, certain parts of Puerto Rico — including the hotel that housed the "Caller" cast and crew for the week — were left almost entirely without power for multiple days.
"It feels particularly fitting that we're in the middle of a hurricane," Moyer told MTV with a grin. "There's no power. Last night, after we all left the bar, we had to go back to [our rooms] with flashlights. It's literally pitch black in the hotel. You've just watched a horror film, which is pretty scary, and you're going into your room with a flashlight and you can't see anything. I think all of us went through some moments last night thinking, 'This is it. My time is up! Somebody's going to jump out of the cupboard!' "

'Transformers: Dark Of The Moon' Returns To IMAX
Michael Bay's robot flick will hit theaters again on Friday and run for two weeks.
By Terri Schwartz

The moon will go dark again as Paramount gears up to re-release "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" in IMAX this Friday.
The third "Transformers" flick is currently the second-highest-grossing film of the year in the U.S., coming in second to "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2" with $348.5 million. "Dark of the Moon" will get a second life in 246 IMAX theaters in North America beginning on Friday, according to The Hollywood Reporter, and will run in IMAX through September 8.
In most cases, that means the Michael Bay flick will screen alongside already running movies like "Deathly Hallows, Part 2," "Cowboys & Aliens" and "Final Destination 5," given that Steven Soderbergh's soon-to-open "Contagion" doesn't hit IMAX until September 9.
Last year, "Avatar" made a similar move at the end of the summer, attempting to recapture moviegoers' interest before the end of the blockbuster movie season. The major difference between re-releases for "Avatar" and "Dark of the Moon" is that James Cameron stuffed "Avatar" with nine more minutes of previously unreleased footage to entice moviegoers.
While "Dark of the Moon" doesn't have new footage, the newest releases haven't been big draws at the box office and that may make it a good time to try to nab any stragglers who still want to see giant robots blow things up.
Christopher Nolan's Batman flick also benefited from this strategy. After its initial July 2008 opening, Warner Bros. gave "The Dark Knight" a February 2009 IMAX re-release. And even though the studio bypassed the summer movie season for the second release, the stunt still worked. There was plenty of residual interest in the flick following its Academy Awards success, and the second run helped push "Dark Knight" onto the list of the highest-grossing films of all time.
It will be interesting to see if this becomes a trend in summers to come, with blockbuster films like "Prometheus," "Men in Black III," "The Amazing Spider-Man" and "The Dark Knight Rises" all set to hit theaters in 2012.

Pet Tags
Man, I'm so irritated.
I just received four pets tags that I ordered for Bev and Mary Margaret (two for Brooklyn and two for LA) and they're all messed up. Not only did they leave off the "Margaret" on Mary Margaret's tags, but the text isn't centered correctly and runs off the right side on all four of them. (The last letter of the address is cut in half.) The tags themselves are also ugly. The edges aren't smoothed out... they look like someone just cut them from a piece of sheet metal and called it a day.
So anyway, I got them this morning on my way to Starbucks (yesterday's mail), so while I was there, I started drafting a strongly-worded letter in my head, like what I was going to say to these people when I sent them back.
And then I saw it.
In tiny print on the bottom of the invoice it said, "Our handicapped employees appreciate your order."
So now I can't send them back. If I did I'd be a total asshole.
I'm just going to order new ones from someplace else. Any recommendations?
'Breaking Dawn' Photos Tease One Hot Honeymoon
'Twilight' couple, played by Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, get steamy in a new batch of stills.
By Terri Schwartz
Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1"
Photo: Summit
Fans were already invited to Bella and Edward's "Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" wedding, and now, new photos are giving a sneak peek at the hotly anticipated honeymoon.
Chess game on the beach of Isle Esme? Check. Scantily clad swimming sessions under a waterfall? Check. Bella's realization that she's pregnant with a half-vampire, half-human baby? Absolutely. Summit certainly didn't skimp with this round of stills, which includes some of the pics featured in last week's Entertainment Weekly.
Click here for steamy new photos of Bella and Edward.
Judging by the photos, viewers can expect plenty of romancing during the "Breaking Dawn" honeymoon. First, there's the moonlit naked rendezvous that was teased at Comic-Con, and these stills show off another sexy trip into the water. Kristen Stewart certainly appears to be enjoying herself in the first picture, but it looks like she and Robert Pattinson are being interrupted by an unwelcome visitor in the second.
There are three other pictures of Bella and Edward being adorable, including one of the couple playing chess. It is a nod to the cover of the "Breaking Dawn" novel, which features a queen at the forefront of a chessboard. Spoiler: The queen represents Bella coming into her own in the final "Twilight Saga" installment.
While one picture shows Stewart and Pattinson in their honeymoon bed, the presence of director Bill Condon spoils a bit of the excitement. Fortunately, there are other cute pictures showing them riding on a yacht to Isle Esme and then walking around the island together. The last image of the two of them shows that there's some trouble in paradise, though, as Bella clutches her stomach after realizing she's pregnant.
Another photo shows Cullen siblings Alice and Rosalie — played by Ashley Greene and Nikki Reed — doing Bella's hair in preparation of her wedding. It is one of the few wedding-related images that has been shown beyond the actual wedding sequence that was teased in the trailer.
The only still released that doesn't have anything to do with the couple at the center of "Breaking Dawn" is one of Reed and Taylor Lautner as Jacob Black. It's a tease for the argumentative interactions that the two characters have in the final two "Twilight Saga" films, something that became a fan-favorite part of the last of Stephenie Meyer's novels. Fingers crossed that this picture takes place while Jacob directs one of his many blond jokes at Rosalie.

As Lohan sues him over the lyrics to 'Give Me Everything,' the rapper extends an olive branch.
By James Montgomery
Pitbull issues a statement about Lindsay Lohan on Thursday
Photo: Planet Pit
Pitbull and Lindsay Lohan may currently be at odds over the lyrics of "Give Me Everything," but the rapper has extended an olive branch to the oft-troubled actress ... in the form of an invitation to this Sunday's Video Music Awards.
That's what Mr. 305 said in a statement posted Thursday (August 25) on his Planet Pit website, in which he addressed the lawsuit Lohan filed last week that alleges the lyrics of his hit — in particular, the line "I got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan" — are "destined to do irreparable harm" to the actress' career. Pit wants it known that he hopes the two sides can hash out their differences at the VMAs.
"We'll be performing ['Give Me Everything] at the VMAs, and, as a matter of fact, I'd like to send out an invitation to Lindsay Lohan," Pitbull said. "Hopefully she can come with me to the VMAs, and we can figure this out."
Pitbull also said he was "very surprised" when he first learned of the lawsuit, especially since he considers "Give Me Everything" — and his mention of Lohan — to be positive.
"It was very ironic, to be honest with you. At first I read it and I was like, 'Nah, this has got to be a joke,' [but] come to find out it's very realistic," he said. "Me being someone who supports Lindsay Lohan's career, where I've seen her go through everything she's gone through, and everything that has to do with this record is so positive — you see the way I start off the record, where I say, 'I took my life from negative to positive/ I just want y'all to know that' — when I mention Lindsay Lohan in the record, it was really a positive message.
"[The lyric] is 'Hustlers move in silence, so I'm tip-toeing/ So keep blowing, got it locked up like Lindsay Lohan,' " Pitbull continued. "When I say I got it locked up, if you're from the neighborhood, when they say, 'You got it locked up' that means you run that area."
And as far as Lohan's claims that the song has caused her — and her career — irreparable harm, Pitbull said that he never intended to hurt anybody ... quite the opposite, in fact.
"In no way, shape or form would I want to bring that on anybody. I didn't look to defame, degrade or hurt someone's career," he said. "For me, mentioning it on a #1 record around the world, I thought it would be helping someone's career, and keeping them relevant. We mention people's names all the time; when it comes to rapping, it's always about double meanings and metaphors and how you flip certain things."
Pitbull added that he's not sure what the next step in the legal process would be ("That has to come with the attorneys," he said). But who knows? Perhaps things will be patched up after Sunday's VMAs.
"It shows that success comes with a whole lot," Pit said. "And I always say, as hard as you work to succeed in this music business, there's four or five people working harder to take it all away from you."

Anne Hathaway Talks Pressures Of Adapting 'One Day'
Actress tells MTV News she saw people reading book all over London during filming.
By Terri Schwartz, with reporting by Josh Horowitz
Jim Sturgess and Anne Hathaway in "One Day"
Photo: Giles Keyte
Anne Hathaway knows you have your doubts about her, but she's ready to impress you with "One Day."
The actress is no stranger to adapting well-loved literature to the big screen, having starred in "The Princess Diaries" and "Brokeback Mountain." But having to speak in an English accent and co-helm a romance novel that fans were so protective of certainly put the pressure on when she was filming "One Day."
Fortunately, the response from fans has been positive so far. MTV News caught up with Hathaway and her co-star Jim Sturgess recently, and "The Dark Knight Rises" actress said that people have received her performance in the flick positively.
"I've had people come up to me who have seen it actually and they say, 'I didn't think you could pull it off.' And people feel inclined to tell me that they really had no faith in me whatsoever," she said with a laugh. "So far, it's ended with a, 'But you surprised me, and I really enjoyed your performance.' But I'm just waiting for that person to come up and say, 'Well I knew you couldn't do it.' "
She added that the pressure was amplified by the fact that when she and Sturgess were filming in London, Hathaway saw people all across the city reading the book. The cover of the novel's U.K. edition is orange, and Hathaway said it would freak her out to see "One Day" so prominently featured in every bookstore she walked into.
"At night, it kind of lights the streets of London," Sturgess joked.
People who want to walk into "One Day" spoiler-free might not be too psyched to hear that both Hathaway and Sturgess say they prefer "ill-fated, tear-inducing" romantic films as opposed to ones that end happily ever after. That news certainly doesn't bode well for the love story between their onscreen characters.
While Sturgess said he feels that way because he's "just cynical," Hathaway explained that she feels tragic romantic stories stay with a person longer.
"If something's happily ever after, yay, you're happy for them, but what else do you feel about it? When something rips your guts out, you're more inclined to remember it," she explained.
Check out everything we've got on "One Day."

If the acting bug is genetic, then Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick's kid is in trouble! Parker, 46, and Broderick, 49, both started acting at a young age -- and now, in a new interview with Parade, Parker reveals that their 8-year-old son James Wilkie is eager to go into the family business.
"I don't want him to do it until after he goes to college," Parker admits. "But part of me thinks maybe it's better if he knows the truth now about how hard it is to be a working actor. I don't know that he grasps what it took to get us here.
"I didn't plot a future like this, although I know some people do," she continues. "When Matthew and I started working, all we knew is that we wanted to be great actors. I don't think I ever thought about money or that people would know my name."
Now, of course, people do know her name -- but Parker says that her life isn't always easy street, especially when it comes to balancing two acting careers with three kids (James Wilkie and her 2-year-old twins via surrogate, Loretta and Tabitha).
"We've had two occasions recently where both Matthew and I were working, and it was so hard on the kids," she recalls. "Especially James Wilkie, because he can really articulate how he feels about our absence."
But sometimes being an A-list actor has its benefits. "On the other hand," she notes, "there are big chunks of time when we're home a lot more than conventionally working parents. So you hope to make up for it."
In the September film I Don't Know How She Does It, Parker plays a business executive struggling to juggle work and kids. The actress herself employs several babysitters, but is proud that she doesn't rely on a live-in nanny.
"We love closing the door and having the only people in the house be our three children and us," she says. "I give the girls their bath every night. Matthew cooks amazing things -- last Saturday, pasta amatriciana and broccoli rabe, plus fennel sausage that he made."
Parker is very close with her three children, as is obvious when she describes their personalities. Loretta, she says, is "deeply inquisitive," constantly asking, "Do you see that, do you hear that, Mama?" Tabitha lives for attention and is already a little fashion plate. "She can put on any kind of shoe -- she gets the feet right, figures out the Velcro," says Parker. "Yesterday she had on my husband's shoes, mine, her brother's, her sister's and a babysitter's."
James Wilkie, Parker says, is the most like her, having inherited "this need to strive for perfection." But, she adds, her son is "a lot more bold" than she was as a child.
Hmm -- that could be useful for auditions...

With a Little Luck: A Novel
My good friend Caprice Crane's new book, With a Little Luck, is out today. Yay, Caprice!
It's gotten great reviews:
"Crane is one of the funniest writers of popular fiction around. The dialog (inner and outer) is laugh-out-loud, snort-inducing hilarious . . . Readers will want to cross their fingers and spit while throwing salt over their shoulders if it helps Berry reach her dreams. Highly recommended."
—Library Journal
"Fans of Stacy Ballis and Cara Lockwood will appreciate Crane's effortlessly funny style, which is often attempted in popular fiction but is rarely this well executed...Lighthearted and charmingly honest."
—Booklist
"[A] satisfying romantic comedy...[with] real character growth."
—Kirkus Reviews
And even better blurbs:
"Romantic, poignant and funny—this book is a lucky find for lit fans. Caprice Crane is a nimble and gifted storyteller."
—Diablo Cody, Academy Award-winning screenwriter of Juno
"A hilarious romp that oozes charm and giddy fun. Caprice Crane is a true talent."
—Molly Jong-Fast, author of The Social Climber's Handbook
"Witty, fast-paced, and sheer fun. Caprice Crane is a master of dialogue. Half the time I was reading this book I was smiling, which made me look like a crazy person on the subway."
—Jancee Dunn, author of Don’t You Forget About Me and Why Is My Mother Getting a Tattoo?
"Absolutely charming and hilarious."
—Missy Peregrym, star of the movie Stick It and ABC's Rookie Blue
"With a Little Luck scores in humor, head, and heart. In other words, it’s a perfect trifecta."
—Karyn Bosnak, author of 20 Times a Lady (soon to be the major motion picture What's Your Number?)
(Omg, who is that last fantastic blurber?) (I meant every word of it.)
And most importantly, she has the cutest dog ever (who likes to video chat with Bev):
Anyway, check it out, buy it—it's fantastic!
Kim Kardashian & Kris Humphries Wedding Details

It's official: Kim Kardashian is now Mrs. Kris Humphries! The reality star, 30, tied the knot with the 26-year-old NBA player on Saturday in Montecito, Calif. The outdoor ceremony, attended by 450 guests, was tightly guarded -- but a few details still managed to leak out!
First, of course: the dress. You may recall that last week, Kim was reportedly trying to decide between two different gowns. It seems that she decided not to decide: According to the Daily Mail, Kim wore three different dresses over the course of the night, all designed by Vera Wang. But the most important dress, the one that she walked down the aisle in, is described by E! as "strapless, with a fitted bodice, a full, rather traditionally cut tulle skirt, and an epic train." The bride wore her hair up, under a veil topped by a jeweled headpiece that dangled diamonds onto her forehead. She wore Giuseppe Zanotti shoes and carried a bouquet of white roses.
The ceremony was reportedly short -- about 30 minutes long -- with each member of the Kardashian clan taking part. Stepfather Bruce Jenner walked Kim down the aisle. Sisters Khloé and Kourtney were matron and maid of honor, respectively. Kylie and Kendall Jenner were bridesmaids, as was Kris' sister Kaela Humphries. (So many K's!) Kim's late father Robert Kardashian was there in spirit; the service included a tribute she wrote in his honor. And finally, Kim's 20-month-old nephew Mason served as ring bearer. Mason was carried by his mother Kourtney at first, but when she stumbled in the aisle, he grabbed the pillow and proudly took it to the altar himself!
The bridesmaids wore ivory gowns -- not green, as had been reported! -- that are being described as "very Pippa Middleton." And the mother of the bride, Kris Jenner, looked radiant in her own white Vera Wang gown, strapless with a giant bow on the bodice. The rest of the guests dutifully followed the dress code required by the invitation: all black and white.
Following the ceremony, guests moved to the reception tent, where the newly minted husband and wife were introduced by soul singer Robin Thicke. Thicke sang his own "Angels" for their first dance; later, Earth, Wind and Fire also performed. Guests -- including Lindsay Lohan (wearing the same dress Pippa Middleton donned at the royal wedding, but in white), Demi Lovato, Mario Lopez, Ciara, Eva Longoria, Mel B and Ryan Seacrest -- enjoyed a wedding feast prepared by Wolfgang Puck, and a 10-layer chocolate-and-vanilla swirl cake.
The best man and bridesmaids gave champagne toasts, with the bridesmaids changing into matching white track suits for theirs. The reception lasted well into the night -- until the fire marshal got too many noise complaints and shut it down! But by that time, most of the guests had already headed home -- with party favors that included a white pashmina embroidered with "Mr. and Mrs. Humphries."
The bride and groom aren't taking a honeymoon right away, as Kim was already under contract to film the second season of Kourtney and Kim Take New York when Kris proposed in May. But as consolation, they'll get to experience their wedding day all over again: It's airing as a two-part special on E! in October.
Jane Krakowski Credits "Hard Work" for Post-Baby Body

There's nothing more annoying than listening to celebrities talk about how they just miraculously slipped right back into their skinny jeans seconds after their baby was born. But Jane Krakowski isn't trying to fool anyone.
The 30 Rock star, and Tropicana's celebrity endorser, is being frank about how she's been getting rid of the excess pounds after giving birth to her first son Bennett in April.
"Good old-fashioned hard work is the way I’m getting rid of the baby weight," she told People.com. "I’ve been spinning a lot and working out with a personal trainer."
Krakowski, who’s nominated for an Emmy for outstanding supporting actress in a comedy series, says she's psyched for big night on the town -- and is looking forward to seeing how hard work paid off.
"I’m excited to get into my Emmy dress!" she said.
As for being working mom, Krakowski, 42, says she had a blast filming the new Trop50 commercials -- with a monkey! -- and was thrilled to bring her new addition to the set.
"He loved it," the beaming mom said. "He had a great time meeting everybody — he’s a people person."
Vanessa Hudgens: Watering Hole Hottie

Kicking off the week with an afternoon on the town, Vanessa Hudgens was spotted checking out The Organic Watering Hole in Studio City, CA on Monday (August 22).
Clad in a white sweater dress, brown boots and an array of necklaces, the "Sucker Punch" sweetheart grabbed up a cool fruit beverage at the brand new health food locale during her day's errands.
Once her thirst was quenched, Miss Hudgens proceeded forth to hit up a few nearby boutiques in search of new additions for her wardrobe.
The sighting comes after a busy weekend for the 22-year-old, as she joined in on a BBQ on Saturday while joining a mystery male for a lunch date the following day.

Pregnant Hilary Duff Dropped from 'Bonnie & Clyde' Movie

Hilary Duff recently revealed the happy news that she's pregnant with her first child (dad is her pro-hockey-player hubby Mike Comrie) -- but not everything is rainbows and milkshakes for the 23-year-old actress. According to FOX News, Duff has been dropped from the upcoming movie The Story of Bonnie and Clyde because the timing of her pregnancy would have interfered with the movie's fall shooting schedule (Duff is due to give birth this winter).
Duff had been on tap to play notorious real-life bank robber Bonnie Parker in the remake of the 1967 classic Bonnie and Clyde, which starred Faye Dunaway as Parker and Warren Beatty as Clyde Barrow, Parker's partner in crime and love. Sources close to the production say the decision to move forward without Hilary has been made and that the director, Tonya S. Holly, is already searching for a replacement.
"Hilary won't be available until next June," a source said. "If we could wait we would."
Although the split was apparently amicable, Duff and her representatives haven't yet responded publicly to the news that she has been ditched due to her pregnancy. If the split was less than friendly, Duff could certainly make a case for discrimination.
Famously, actress Hunter Tylo won a $4.8-million judgment when she left her gig on the soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful to star on Melrose Place in 1996 -- and then promptly fired before filming began on Melrose because she had announced that she was pregnant.
The casting of Duff in the iconic Bonnie Parker role was controversial from the get-go, with Faye Dunaway weighing in with an indiscreet and mean-spirited comment: "Couldn't they have at least cast a real actress?" Duff remained unruffled, replying, "I think it was a little unnecessary but I might be mad if I looked like that now too." Ouch!
All of that appears to be a moot point now. And the Bonnie & Clyde producers have some work cut out for themselves if they want their movie to see the light of day anytime soon: Gossip Girl actor Kevin Zegers, who was slated to play Clyde, also had to drop out due to scheduling conflicts. So the movie now needs two completely new leads. Hey, Bonnie & Clyde were always hard to find.
