She?s no stranger to big industry affairs, and earlier tonight (January 30) Tina Fey showed up at the 17th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards.
The ?Baby Mama? actress looked fabulous as she hammed it up outside the Shrine Exposition Center in Los Angeles, sporting a stylish ensemble.
And tonight is extra special for Tina, as she?ll be competing for some hardware in the Best Female Actor- Comedy category.
But it won?t be easy- Ms. Fey is up against the likes of Edie Falco, Jane Lynch, Sofia Vergara, and the notorious Betty White.
Snooki Regrets Putting the Moves on 'Jersey Shore' Costar Vinny
Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi seems like a lady with no shame (and we mean that as a compliment!). Still -- it can't be easy to relive every embarrassing summer moment while the rest of America watches along on MTV. And Snooki says that if she had to do it all over again, she'd be less aggressive about trying to get it on with housemate Vinny Guadagnino.
"I kind of wish me and Vinny didn't try to have sex because it was just drama this whole season," said Polizzi, 23, in a radio interview with SiriusXM's Morning Mash Up. "And I don't know, it was just awkward between us and then I felt stupid. It's just embarrassing."
Jersey Shore fans will recall that Snooki and Vinny did hook up last season -- but the "friends with benefits" situation cooled off this season when Snooki started to fall for her housemate.
Fortunately, Snooki was able to move past her crush on Vinny. This past fall, shortly after she finished shooting Season 2, Snooki started dating Jionni LaValle. If you haven't seen a lot of pictures of him, that's because he's not dating Snooki for the press: LaValle, a kids' wrestling coach and aspiring gym teacher, apparently "freaked out" the first time he saw himself in a tabloid and told Snooki, "I don't want to be in that world." Sounds like a good guy for Snooki to have around, when so much of her life is about playing to the camera. Plus he makes her pickle pancakes for breakfast -- not the meal of choice for everyone, but a sure way to win Snooki's heart!

Anne Hathaway and James Franco Do Hilarious Oscar Promo
With the Academy Awards only weeks away on Feb. 27, Anne Hathaway and James Franco are feverishly whipping themselves into shape for their upcoming hosting duties.
As proof, a newly released ABC promo shows the duo "rigorously preparing for every possible Oscar emergency." Set to the theme music from Rocky, the clip depicts Hathaway and Franco warming up for their emceeing stint by doing biceps curls with -- what else? -- Oscar statuettes. It then cuts to a dance lesson, where Hathaway clumsily topples to the floor after a twirl (apparently they still have some work to do in the choreography department). But what if the strap should break on Anne's dress mid-ceremony, causing a Janet Jackson-esque "wardrobe malfunction"? Don't worry -- Franco's got that covered. Literally. Watch below and see for yourself!
In addition to his hosting duties, Franco, 32, is nominated for best actor for his role in 127 Hours. While Hathaway isn't up for an Academy Award this year, the 28-year-old is a nominee for several categories in our 2nd Annual iVillage Entertainment Awards (which are just as prestigious)! Ryan Seacrest, Josh Duhamel In Talks For 'New Year's Eve' Movie
Ice Cube has also been named as possible addition to all-star cast for Garry Marshall flick.

Who would have thought that Halle Berry, Jessica Biel, Jon Bon Jovi, Abigail Breslin, Robert De Niro, Zac Efron, Ashton Kutcher, Seth Meyers, Lea Michele, Sarah Jessica Parker, Michelle Pfeiffer, Til Schweiger, Sienna Miller, Hilary Swank and Sofia Vergara wouldn't be enough Hollywood star power for one movie? Well, it seems that the brains behind the forthcoming movie "New Year's Eve" are looking to add even more high-profile talent to the lineup.
"American Idol" host Ryan Seacrest, Ice Cube and Josh Duhamel all are in talks to appear in the star-studded flick, which follows New Yorkers over the course of, you guessed it, New Year's Eve, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Seacrest would play himself in the movie, Duhamel would play a man looking to get to New York to reconnect with a mystery woman he met the year before, and Cube would play an NYPD cop who works with Swank, who will play the director of the Times Square New Year's Eve party. The flick is set to begin filming next month.
Earlier this week, "SNL" funnyman Seth Meyers and rocker Jon Bon Jovi signed on for roles in the Garry Marshall film, the sequel to 2010's "Valentine's Day." And at the Golden Globe Awards earlier this month, Efron confirmed his role in the movie to MTV News.
"I'm starting a movie in a couple of weeks called 'New Year's Eve,' with Garry Marshall. It's got a great cast," he shared. "My scenes are with Michelle Pfeiffer. Yeah, not a bad co-star."
Last year, Marshall spoke to MTV News about the film, which was then in its early stages, and had one other megastar in mind for the film. "Already they're mentioning Justin Bieber," he said. "Perhaps I'd better see who he is, so when he arrives on set, possibly [we can talk]. So we'll see."

Anthony Hopkins On 'The Rite': 'I Know How To Scare People'
In new film, Oscar-winner plays unorthodox exorcist Father Lucas.

If Anthony Hopkins fans know anything, it's the fact that the Oscar-winner knows how to scare the pants off of moviegoers. The obvious, most-famous example is his award-winning turn as Dr. Hannibal Lecter in "Silence of the Lambs" and the subsequent sequels. It's been awhile since we've seen Sir Hopkins play dark and devious, but with the release of exorcism thriller "The Rite" on Friday (January 28), fans can reacquaint themselves with a bit of Hopkins' tricks and treats.
In the film, which is based on real-life events, Hopkins plays unorthodox exorcist Father Lucas. Without delving into spoiler territory — no more than what the creepy promotional posters give away — when MTV News caught up with the actor recently, we asked him to take us through his process of playing possessed.
Hopkins explained that most of his performances come from extensive preparation. For "The Rite," he learned Latin and Italian for certain scenes, and spent a lot of time alone in his hotel room going over the script.
"I would be there in my den, my man's cave, going over and over [the] script," Hopkins said. "Gradually, as you go through it over and over, all these voices and interpretations come to you," he explained, adding that by the time he was ready to film the key possession sequences, he knew the material so well he was open to improvisation.
"I put all kinds of very suggestive sexual stuff into it which they cut out, but stuff that would provoke people. I knew that the response was good because [director] Mikael Håfström's said, 'You're crazy.' "
Hopkins went on to say, with a smile, that he just knows how to "get people."
"I know how to do those parts," he said. "Not because I'm scary, but because I know how to scare people. ... It's a question of being quiet and not overplaying it," he explained. "You let the script and the audiences do the work for you. You don't have to play evil."

Nicki Minaj Says Appearing On 'Saturday Night Live' Is 'Monumental'

Fresh off the debut of her "Moment 4 Life" video, Nicki Minaj is gearing up for another rather momentous event: her appearance as this weekend's musical guest on "Saturday Night Live."
And though it's most definitely happening, Nicki still can't believe it. And she won't, not until she's seen evidence to the contrary. This could prove problematic since, y'know, the show is live and all.
"Being a part of 'Saturday Night Live' feels absolutely incredible. I still don't even believe it's true, I'm not even going to believe it's really happening until — well, I'm going to DVR it, because I can't watch it, because I'll be on it," she told MTV News, laughing. "But until I see it back on DVR, I'm not even going to believe I was really on the show. This is epic, this is monumental, this is historic stuff."
For a girl who grew up in New York (just like this weekend's host, newly minted Oscar nominee Jesse Eisenberg), performing on "SNL" — a show that's nearly as iconic as the city itself — is a dream come true for Minaj.
"I mean, to be raised in New York, and to always hear about 'SNL,' " she said. "I never had the honor of getting a pinkie toe in the building, now [I'm] here and it feels incredible."
She spent the days leading up to the show filming teaser commercials with Eisenberg and "SNL" castmember Kenan Thompson, and Minaj is taking the same approach when it comes to talking about her performances: She's not revealing much.
But you can probably guess at least one of the songs she'll be doing. "Well, all I can say is that it's going to be a 'Moment 4 Life,' " Minaj smiled.

As more and more of Hollywood woke up to the news of the Oscar nominations on Tuesday morning (January 25), the nominees themselves opened up about the recognition they'd received from the Academy.
"What an extraordinary journey this film has taken me on! 'Rabbit Hole' has been a labor of love and I'm so thankful to John Cameron Mitchell, David Lindsay-Abaire and the brilliant cast," Nicole Kidman said in a statement to MTV News about her Best Actress nod. "This nomination reflects all of the heart and soul that these people have put into it, and I can't thank them enough."
Oscar host James Franco finds himself a nominee at the show as well. He's up for Actor in a Leading Role for his role in "127 Hours." "I'm about to go to class," Franco said on the "Today" show. "I've got my normal pre-class makeup on, and there are some lights here. It's great."
Hailee Steinfeld also spoke to the "Today" show about her nomination for Actress in a Supporting Role for her part in "True Grit." "I was asleep and I heard my mom and dad screaming in the other room. They came in my room with flowers," she said. "It was very exciting. It's incredible. I'm in shock. The film overall is incredible. To be a part of it all was amazing. I'm so proud of it all."
"True Grit" directors/producers/writers Joel and Ethan Coen are up for Best Picture, Best Directing and Best Writing (Adapted Screenplay), but they didn't want to seem greedy about it. "Ten [nominations] seems like an awful lot," they told AwardsDaily.com. "We don't want to take anyone else's."
"The Fighter" star Melissa Leo was the first to speak to "Good Morning America" after her Supporting Actress nomination was announced. "What a thrill to share it with all of America right now," she said. "Love to my family. Love to Alice Ward [the real-life woman I play in the film]. Thank you guys so much! Alice, we're going to the Oscars!"
Leo also commented on Mark Wahlberg not receiving a nomination for his part in the film. "Right now, Mark Wahlberg, the most generous man I've ever met, is receiving all sorts of nominations. Every nomination is a nomination for Mark Wahlberg. There would be nothing without him," she added. "It was just incredible. The proof is in the pudding."

I find it sadly coincidental that the current "audition" period of American Idol -- during which the show takes as much delight in mocking the foolish as it does in celebrating the sensations -- runs concurrently with "No Name-Calling Week" (Jan. 24-28), an anti-name-calling, anti-teasing, anti-bullying initiative created by GLSEN, the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network.
In one corner, we have an organization stressing the inarguable importance of interpersonal tolerance, especially among kids. In the other, we have a prime-time celebration of ridicule -- montage after montage of off-beat and deluded young people who think, for whatever reason, that they have singing talent, while adult judges often crack up and mock them.
Simon Cowell elevated such mocking to an art form (and we'll miss him for that). But even when Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler show sympathy (Randy Jackson is consistently -- and gratifyingly -- cold), the program itself is explicitly soliciting your scorn with creative effects that might as well include a cuckoo, plus Ryan's condescending banter. These oddball contestants do not fall into public spotlight by chance -- producers purposefully select them to proceed to the celebrity-judging round.
Is it funny? Sometimes, sure. But is it right? If this were high school, such targeted humiliation would be seen as not just offensive, but destructive. And kids that age and younger make up a large subset, if not the bulk, of Idol's audience and contestants (who, this year, could apply at age 15). What message does it send?
Don't get me wrong -- I've been watching Idol for years now (The Melinda Doolittle and Brooke White singles in my iPod attest to that). But these weeks of auditions make me queasy. One minute, we're sentimentally celebrating ethnic, geographic, economic and experiential diversity. The next minute, we're laughing at a "weirdo." So much for "It Gets Better."
Perhaps I'm overreacting; maybe it's all just good fun. But that's easy for us to say. Like dozens of lucky and charismatic contestants, we too get to "go to Hollywood!" and not stay behind to ponder a world in which our worst self-doubts have just been cruelly affirmed... by our own idols no less.

What happens when the Blizzard of Oz meets the Bieber? You'll find out on Super Bowl Sunday when Best Buy unveils a commercial co-starring Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne and Justin Bieber.
Best Buy confirmed on Wednesday that Grammy-nominated pop superstar Bieber will take his place alongside the metal legend and his equally famous chat hostess wife for the retail chain's first-ever ad during the big game, according to Business Wire.
Details on the concept of the commercial were not announced at press time, but BB confirmed that the ad is slated to air during the third quarter of the February 6 showdown between the Green Bay Packers and the Pittsburgh Steelers. According to a press release, it will "showcase creativity and humor to millions of football and advertising fans throughout the country."
"We're delighted to have Justin and Ozzy help us tell the Best Buy story," said Drew Panayiotou, senior vice president of U.S. marketing at Best Buy. "We know people have high expectations for these ads, and Justin and Ozzy add a whole new dimension of fun."
Britain's Sun tabloid ran a photo on Thursday (January 27) that was purportedly shot on the set of the ad, in which the unlikely trio are dressed in black-and-silver futuristic space suits.
It won't be the only time you see Bieber on Super Bowl Sunday, as an ad for his upcoming 3-D concert movie, "Justin Bieber: Never Say Never," will also pop up at some point after the most-watched telecast of the year, during an episode of "Glee."
The film opens one week later, on Valentine's Day weekend. This is not the first time Bieber has teamed up with a major sporting event to support a release. During Game 3 of last year's World Series, the teen pop star debuted a mini-music video for the unplugged version of his song "Never Say Never" to promote his acoustic album, My Worlds Acoustic.

On Thursday, Nicki Minaj will reveal her long-awaited "Moment 4 Life" video on MTV. The clip, which was shot in December in Los Angeles, features Young Money labelmate Drake and is rumored to show the pair playing up their "are they or aren't they?" relationship with a kiss.
The "Moment 4 Life" clip will premiere at 7:54 p.m. ET on MTV.
When MTV News' Sway spoke to Drake on the set of "Moment 4 Life," the MC compared the success of his and Minaj's debut albums to Weezy's opening-week sales of Tha Carter III, saying each subsequent project further cemented the collective's status.
"I think it's crazy that somehow, some higher power brought all these individuals together," Drake said. "I remember being on the [tour] bus when Wayne played me Tha Carter III, which went on to sell a million copies in one week. Then it was Thank Me Later. It was this big pressure, and that went on to sell what it did.
"And now," he continued, "to think of the girl that I used to ride the bus with — and that's what she was to me: this girl that I rode the bus with. I was like, 'Female rap?' And I'm being dead honest with you. [I thought,] 'Man, it's been a while since there's been a female rapper, and I'm curious to see how this works.' It's not that I didn't believe. And she was probably looking at me like, 'This Jew from Canada: I don't know.' "
And now, after the successful debut of Pink Friday, the Toronto lyricist said he couldn't be happier for Minaj.
"It's amazing now to see her come into her own, build this brand and persona," he said. "It's incredible." It's been almost eight years since Sarah Michelle Gellar kicked bloodsucker butt on the WB's Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and she's primed for a return to regular series TV with the CBS thriller Ringer, EW.com reports.
Gellar is set to star as a troubled young woman who, when she ends up with a bounty on her head, assumes the identity of her wealthy -- and conveniently missing -- twin sister... only to discover that there's a hit out on her sibling as well. Twist!
Here's the best news: According to EW.com, Gellar will be playing not one but two roles in the series. That's right, she'll be playing twins, though -- as series producer Peter Traugott tells the website (spoiler alert!) -- one of them dies early on and will be seen primarily in flashbacks.
So far, CBS has only ordered a pilot for the series, but buzz is good, increasing the chances that the network will pick it up to air during the 2011-12 TV season.
If it feels like Gellar's TV comeback is long overdue, there's a good reason: In 2008, her HBO pilot The Wonderful Maladys failed to earn a series order. And in September 2009, Gellar got a bit sidetracked when she and hubby Freddie Prinze Jr. welcomed their first child, daughter Charlotte Grace Prinze.
Gellar took a break from acting to bond with her baby -- but now that Charlotte is 16 months old, Mommy seems ready to get back to work kicking bad-guy butt. That's what's called being a positive female role model.

Drake In Talks To Star With Al Pacino In 'Arbitrage'
Movie would mark rapper's first starring film role.

Drake has already conquered the charts and the road, but now the former "Degrassi: The Next Generation" star is in talks to headline his first movie.
A spokesperson for producer Johnny Lin's Filmula company confirmed Monday that Drake is in negotiations to join the financial thriller "Arbitrage." The Wrap reported that the Young Money rapper is considering joining the cast of the indie film, which will be written and directed by Nicholas Jarecki ("The Outsider").
According to the site, the movie follows the path of a hedge-fund magnate who is in over his head and desperate to complete the sale of his shady trading empire to a major bank before his fraud is revealed. But then an "unexpected, bloody error" forces him to turn to an unlikely source for protection.
Susan Sarandon and "Casino Royale" star Eva Green have already signed on to play the wife and art-dealer mistress, respectively. The movie is slated to begin filming in March in New York and will feature a reunion of Oscar-winning actor Al Pacino and Sarandon, who co-starred in HBO's Jack Kevorkian biopic "You Don't Know Jack." Pacino will play the lead role; it was not known at press time what Drake's part would be.
It wouldn't be the first time Drake (born Aubrey Graham), 24, has made the jump from TV to films, following up on his small role in 2007's "Charlie Bartlett."

While most of the talk has been around who will play the story's heroine, Katniss (Hailee Steinfeld, Chloe Moretz and Elle Fanning are just a few of the actresses rumored to be vying for the part), many fans are wondering who will be cast as Katniss' Hunger Games partner (and possible love interest) Peeta.
MTV News caught up with Liam Hemsworth at the Sundance Film Festival on Saturday (January 22), and it turns out the actor hasn't just had his name thrown in the ring for consideration: He's already read the script.
"I read the script," said the 21-year-old star, who was in Park City to go snowboarding with his older brother, actor Chris Hemsworth. "It's a really, really cool story."
The actor, known to many as Miley Cyrus' ex-boyfriend, expressed interest in the film, adding, "I love action ... gritty kinda stuff like that."
For fans worried that the PG-13 adaptation will tone down the action in the book, Hemsworth said, "It's super-dark. It's all young kids in these Hunger Games, which are crazy, insane things."
Hemsworth, who described the project as "definitely something different," says he could "possibly" see himself taking on the role of Peeta. While he hasn't yet met or auditioned for the film's director, Gary Ross, he told MTV, "I mean, it's pretty early right now. ... But, yeah, I'm sure I'll meet [him] on it soon."

Juelz Santana Associate Hynief Arrested On Drug Charges
Police found marijuana and weapons during raid of "Santana" recording studio in New Jersey.

Skull Gang MC Hynief was arrested Thursday on drug charges following a raid on Dipset spitter Juelz Santana's recording studio.
Hynief, who was born Toby M. Raynor, was taken into custody on two counts of distribution of a controlled substance after a search of the "Santana" recording studio in Bergenfield, New Jersey turned up marijuana and weapons.
"Two fully loaded 9mm caliber handguns were found in the recording studio along with several boxes of ammunition. Additionally, seventeen (17) small clear zip-lock bags each containing a greenish brown vegetation, consistent with the appearance of Marijuana, and drug paraphernalia were seized," Bergen County Prosecutor's Office spokesperson Maureen Parenta said in a statement.
Authorities executed the raid after a ten-month-long investigation. Police allege that Hynief distributed marijuana to an undercover cop on two occasions last summer, in June and July.
Hynief was held on $50,000 bail, but Juelz tweeted on Saturday that the rapper had been freed. "A! @HYNIEFSKULLGANG bailed out #whoooaaaaa," he wrote. An officer at the Bergen County Jail confirmed to MTV News that Hynief had been released.
The prosecutor's office didn't directly reference Juelz Santana, but the MC apologized on Twitter for missing an appearance in Chicago due to legal drama.
"If it ant 1 thing it's another, smh. Sorry to all the people in chi-town that came out last night I couldn't make It!! Trouble wit the law," he tweeted.
The raid happened the same day that Santana was forced to skip an MTV News RapFix Live reunion interview with his Dipset brethren, citing a skin issue.
A representative for Juelz did not respond to MTV News' request for comment at press time.

Danny Glover Defends Mel Gibson: 'That's My Friend'
'He's had tough times,' actor tells MTV News at Sundance.

Mel Gibson has alienated much of Hollywood and his fanbase in recent years. First came his infamous DUI arrest in 2006 and then, over the summer, the Oscar winner was accused of abusing ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva and their young daughter Lucia, and the public heard the shocking audiotapes in which he allegedly hurled epithets at Grigorieva. But there's someone who is sticking by his side: his "Lethal Weapon" co-star Danny Glover.
Glover chatted with MTV News on Friday at the Sundance Film Festival about the news of their franchise's remake, saying, "I'd like to think that the four we did were still magical and people will still reference the four 'Lethal Weapon' [films]." The actor also spoke about his on- and offscreen friend, who has since fallen from grace in the public eye.
"I love Mel. That's my friend," Glover said of Gibson, adding, "He's had tough times. We've all had tough times."
In fact, the actor, who was attending Sundance to screen his latest film, "Black Power Mixtape," said he has been in touch with Gibson, who has been keeping a very low profile in the wake of all the controversy. Glover said that they saw one another most recently at a memorial in Los Angeles, where they happily greeted each other. "We ran up and hugged each other, man," he recalled.
When asked whether the revelations about Gibson over the past year resemble the friend he knows, Glover opted to keep mum. "I can't comment on that," he said, adding, "I only know what I know."
The actor went on to say that the Gibson he knows is "a very generous man, a man that ... whatever he goes through ... is always searching for something and searching for meaning in his life.' "
Glover isn't the only friend and former co-star of Gibson's to come to his defense. In the October issue of More, Jodie Foster, who worked with the troubled star on the 1994 comedy Western "Maverick," told the magazine Gibson was the "easiest, nicest person I've ever worked with." She went on to say, "The second I met him, I said, 'I will love this man for the rest of my life."
Like Glover, Foster opted to stay by her friend's side in spite of the abuse accusations and those controversial violent, racial and anti-Semitic slurs. "When you love a friend, you don't abandon them when they are struggling," she said, adding, "but more importantly, he is and has been a true and loyal friend. I hope I can help him get through this dark moment."

Summit Entertainment says each 'Twilight' film's color scheme has meaning.

In the spirit of the old adage "When it rains, it pours," a flurry of "Twilight" news and imagery has hit the Internet over the past two weeks. Things kicked off last week with the release of the first photo from "Breaking Dawn - Part 1," which showed the film's paramours, Robert Pattinson's Edward and Kristen Stewart's Bella, in a very romantic moment on the night after their wedding. Shortly after that photo set "Twilight" fan eyes popping and hearts racing, MTV News was lucky enough to catch up with Pattinson himself at the Golden Globe Awards to get his thoughts on the steamy-looking photo.
On Friday (January 21), Summit Entertainment released yet another early gift for the millions of "Twilight" fans, the official title card for the first part of "Breaking Dawn."
Keeping with the tradition and look of the first three films, "Twilight," "New Moon" and "Eclipse," this "Dawn" title card has the same font (its official name is Zephyr) that fans have come to know and love. And while the card for "Twilight" was red, "New Moon" was gold and "Eclipse" was shiny silver, this card for Part 1 of "Dawn" is a reddish orange — the color of, well, the sky as dawn breaks. According to Summit, each card has a unique color to reflect the tone of the story.
So judging from this intense color, what might we expect from the film that we don't already know about? Those who've read and obsessed over Stephenie Meyer's novels know that the conclusion to the "Twilight Saga" packed a punch, complete with a vampire transformation, a marriage, a baby and a battle.

George Clooney Has Malaria -- But Don't Worry!
George Clooney has it all: good looks, a successful career, and a mosquito-borne tropical disease. Wait, what? Yes, Clooney told Piers Morgan that he contracted malaria a couple weeks ago in Sudan. He seems oddly cheerful about it, though. Watch the clip below!
"I guess the mosquito in Juba looked at me and thought I was the bar," Clooney joked during the interview, which will air on Friday.
According to Morgan, this is actually Clooney's second bout with malaria, a tropical disease with flu-like symptoms. Malaria kills millions of people a year in third-world countries, but is easily treatable with a drug regimen.
"This illustrates how with proper medication, the most lethal condition in Africa can be reduced to a bad ten days instead of a death," says Clooney, whose rep describes him as "completely over" the disease.
The star of The American visited Sudan during the first week of January, as part of an international effort to prevent violence during the war torn nation's January 9 referendum. (The result of the referendum is that the southern part of Sudan has elected to become independent from the rest of the country.) There was great concern that President Bashir, an indicted war criminal, would incite a war between the northern and southern regions. Clooney has been working against violence in Sudan for over four years, and has met twice with President Obama to discuss United States involvement. Clooney obviously takes his humanitarian efforts seriously, but was good-natured when Morgan joked about his multiple bouts with malaria.
"You don't think President Bashir has detached a detail of sickly, vengeful mosquitos to target you whenever you arrive?" the CNN host asked.
"Yeah, I think so," responded Clooney.
Morgan later kidded Clooney via Twitter, saying, "Clooney malaria update: now have 24,563 offers to nurse him. But his rep says medication's worked and he's OK. Sorry, ladies." The interview airs Friday at 9pm on CNN.

Beyonce To Star In Clint Eastwood's 'A Star Is Born' Remake
Movie will be directed and produced by the Oscar winner.

Beyoncé Knowles is headed back to the big screen and into the familiar territory of playing an aspiring singer-turned-superstar. According to Deadline, Knowles will star in a remake of "A Star Is Born," to be directed and produced by Oscar winner Clint Eastwood for Warner Bros.
The remake will be the fourth telling of the "A Star Is Born" tale, the most memorable in recent years being the 1976 version with Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson as star-crossed lovers of sorts. It is also worth mentioning that the producers of that film, Billy Gerber and Jon Peters, are also attached to this new project. It is said to be a full-on musical with production set to begin sometime in the fall.
Naturally, the plot details are under wraps, but the original story revolves around an aspiring singer who meets and falls in love with a troubled, failing former star who helps get the young ingénue her big break in the business.
No announcements have been made with regard to the male lead, but the report mentioned that major names like Will Smith, Robert Downey Jr. and Jon Hamm have been floated around.
It's definitely an interesting step for Knowles but not necessarily a surprise, given the fact that the majority of her film roles have been as singers ("Cadillac Records," "Dreamgirls," "The Fighting Temptations"). While many thought "Dreamgirls" would bring awards recognition for Beyoncé, Jennifer Hudson's supporting role ended up garnering the most attention. With Oscar fave Eastwood at the helm of this new project, Knowles could be in line for some hardware yet.

Ashton Kutcher Talks 'No Strings Attached' Sex Scenes'
'There were no major injuries,' he assures MTV News of his racy scenes with Natalie Portman.

In the new romantic comedy "No Strings Attached," Ashton Kutcher and Golden Globe winner Natalie Portman play two people who try to just be "sex friends" rather than entering into a traditional romantic relationship.
As the "sex friends" moniker might imply, there are quite a few racy scenes in the film and, in particular, one long mash-up of their characters engaging in various acts and positions, in various locations. We'll call it the "sex montage." When MTV News caught up with Kutcher recently, we asked him if there were any bloopers to come out of filming so many challenging-looking scenarios for the montage.
"There weren't really any bloopers," he said. "It's always sort of awkward and giggly, right? Because you're there and you're with someone you sort of know, and there's a lot of people watching," he explained of the awkward factor involved in filming love scenes. "It's always kind of in-between scenes you try to make jokes and divert it, 'Oh it's not a big deal,' try to make it seem like it's not a big deal."
So there were no major injuries suffered then?
"Nah, there were no major injuries," Kutcher assured us. "There was a dirty-feet situation," he revealed. "Because the ground was dirty, and there was one scene where we both had our feet up, and they were showing in camera. We were walking around getting ready to do the scene, and the set floor was a little dirty, so we both had really dirty feet. That was weird, I don't know why. ... No dirty feet in bed," he added.

As "The Twilight Saga" comes to a close, fans will finally get a chance to see Kristen Stewart's Bella transform into a vampire in "Breaking Dawn". Her onscreen husband, Robert Pattinson, admits that seeing Stewart hang out onset as one of the undead seems to be a natural thing for the actress.
"It's like she wanted to do it the entire time," he told MTV News over the weekend. "It's really funny, it's like a completely different environment onset when she's a vampire and when she's not. I think she's going to do it really well."
Pattinson's onscreen dad, Peter Facinelli, also had only accolades for Stewart as she officially joins the Cullen clan in the franchise's final films.
"She's doing really well. She looks fantastic," Facinelli raved. "For some reason, once they put those contact lenses in, you look very statuesque."
Fans are not only excited to see Stewart as a vampire, they're also stoked to see all the action go down in the epic "Breaking Dawn" battle scene, which Pattinson explained has been a bit of a daunting process to shoot.
"There's like a 27-minute sequence in the final sequence, and it takes forever to shoot," he said. "There's about 75 people in it. Being on a piece of fake snow surrounded by green screen for like a month, it's driving me absolutely insane."
It will be some time before the films hit theaters, but fans have already gotten the chance to see Bella and Edward in bed together.
"I love how they release that for the first one," he said sarcastically about the honeymoon sneak peek photo featuring the pair naked in bed together. "They just give it all away.
"It's always awkward [doing a sex scene], in a way, doing it with anybody," he admitted. "But at the same time ... it really depends on how it's staged and stuff. It's like doing Twister."

The Scoop on Nicole Kidman?s Secret Baby
In the midst of Hollywood's current baby boom, the whole world seems to be on baby bump patrol. But Nicole Kidman and husband Keith Urban were able to keep the fact that they were expecting a secret. Of course, there was no growing belly to blow their cover.
The couple’s second child together, Faith Margaret, was born via surrogate on Dec. 28. She weighed in at "a healthy 8 lbs., 9 oz," according to People.
Kidman and Urban had their first daughter Sunday Rose, 2, in 2008. Kidman also has two other children, Connor, 15, and Isabella, 18, from her marriage to Tom Cruise.
Kidman and Urban, both 43, announced their news on Jan. 17, three weeks after Faith was born at The Women’s Hospital at Centennial Medical center in Nashville. "We spent Christmas on tenterhooks and after Faith Margaret was born…(and then) we spent New Year’s on cloud nine," Kidman said through her spokesperson.
A friend of the new parents said, "They never gave up faith they’d have another child together. They feel blessed."
Kidman and Urban aren’t the first celebrity couple to use a gestational carrier. Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick, Neil Patrick Harris and his partner, and Sir Elton John and his husband have all had children via surrogate mothers.
